Child Vaccinations

Vaccinations are the best way to protect children against diseases like measles, rubella, tetanus and meningitis. As well as protecting your own child, you're also protecting others by preventing the spread of disease.

All children are eligible for free vaccinations. Please call the surgery to book this in with the nurse.

More on the flu

The children's flu vaccine is given as a quick and painless spray in each nostril. Children who cannot have the nasal spray vaccine will get a different flu vaccine, given as an injection into the upper arm or thigh. The vaccine helps protect your child from flu and reduces the chance of them spreading it.
